Duncan MacKenzie, Owner, grew up in the rolling hills of Derbyshire, England and came to Vermont in search of big hills and deep snow. An enthusiastic snowboarder, Duncan, started his career as an outdoor educator teaching snowboarding in Northern Vermont. He, then, turned his love of the forests, streams, wildlife, and mountains of Vermont into a career in renewable energy and sustainable community electrical solutions.

With over ten years of combined construction & electrical experience, Duncan’s favorite projects are the ones where he can help his neighbors with reasonable, reliable, and safe electrical solutions— solar installation, battery back up systems, EV chargers, control technologies, and residential service electrical upgrades. Duncan holds a State of Vermont Electrical License through the Division of Fire Safety and is fully insured.
